ThinkSync Films Screening at London Short Film Festival- Jan 8th!
Monday, January 7th, 2008Hello!
ThinkSync Films would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2008
Things are looking exciting for the competition as we enter our third year and we are already receiving much interest from filmmakers around the world.
Having opened for submissions back on 23rd November, to tie in with the ThinkSync Films 120 Minutes special which aired on MTV2, we will be accepting entries right up to Friday 6th June 2008. We are happy to welcome back many of the independent labels who supported us last year, as well as new friends such as Rough Trade, Against The Grain, Notting Hill Music and Werk Discs. Please check them out under ‘music’.
To kick off 2008, we are pleased to have been asked to do a showcase at the London Short Film Festival (formerly the Halloween Short Film Festival), which opens today (4th) and runs until 13th January - for a full programme for this excellent festival, please visit www.shortfilms.org.uk or download from www.a-to-m.com
Many thanks to Phil and Kate for inviting us to take part this year.
The showcase will take place next Tuesday evening (8th) at the Roxy in Borough (www.roxybarandscreen.com) and will form part of an event which also will feature new music videos from the BBC Film Network and work by Seabuzzard - the event kicks off at 8pm and is free…
Please try to make it down!
We will be showcasing four of our favourite films from the last couple of years, and the filmmakers will be there to answer questions after each film - the line-up is as follows:
